Parasummer has always hosted BirdMan flying. This year will be even more specific Jari Kuosma, the president and founder of BirdMan will join us. And we invite all the BirdBabez and BirdBoyz from all around the world to join us at ParaSummer.
We are aiming for some really big flocks -- up to 20 and maybe even 30-ways. It depends on how many BirdBabez and BirdBoyz will attend, but please come over and we can build some really nice bigways and soar over the sky.
Additionally -- we are aiming for wingsuit artistic discipline. This is aimed for teams consisting of three skyfliers. The two will perform whatever artistic/funny/never-seen-before flying and third will act as a cameraman. The honourable jury will vote the winners and Jari has promised to bring some BirdMan prizes also.
On top of all the previous. There will be Jari Kuosma, Jussi Holopainen and Toomas "ekstremist" Talts giving first flight courses for the ones who want to start their skyflying career. Do not hesitate to ask, we will introduce you the next level of skydiving.
At Parasummer 2005 we will have two freefly coaches.
There is a guy in freefly community, very well known because of his always-eye-catching-beard-style. But even more important -- he is an excellent freeflier and teacher. You already recognized him -- James Evered from Australia. His experience from long years of load organising and thousands of freefly jumps will be at your service. James will teach you how to freefly, either you are just about to start your freefly career or will come to Parasummer with your whole team.
And we are very proud to announce that Teppo Heikkinen from Team Ettan will join us at Parasummer. Very high rankings from World Cup, Space Games and other competitions place Ettan and its team member Teppo Heikkinen among the best freefliers on earth. Teppo will do one-on-one training jumps, team-coaching, head-down, head-up, flock, track -- you name it.
Freefly training jumps will cost you (or your team) just your jump-ticket, coach ticket plus one ticket extra.
If you come from Finland, you surely know him -- for his jokes if nothing else. If you've ever been to Hercules Boogie, you probably know him. Parasummer 2005 Team proudly presents one of the organisers of the 2-point 120-way world record, the organiser of the 57-way Finnish record, participant at World Air Games, load organiser at Hercules Boogies -- Markku Teivainen!
Markku will be in Pärnu, sharing the secrets of big-way skydiving and organising large-formation loads. I wouldn't be surprised if we had to ask the pilots to fly in formation in order to make some of Markku's ideas come true ;)
Peter Engström is our Chief Tandem Instructor. The tall Swede takes people up to the skies with a broad smile and a trademark question "What could possibly go wrong?".
Raul Reap may not be as tall as Peter, but he's at least as friendly and professional. And when Peter has his lunch, it is Raul who will bring you safely down to Earth after leaving a perfectly good airplane.
